The Client: T’aggiusto io

“T’aggiusto io” (I’ll fix it for you) is a center specializing in mechanical repairs and automotive diagnostics. The colloquial and direct name was chosen to immediately establish a relationship of personal trust with the client. The company needed a logo that visualized this promise of efficiency and practical problem-solving.

The Concept: The Firm Grip

The concept behind the logo is having the “solution in hand.” I wanted to visually represent the mechanic’s ability to take control of the situation. The naming itself suggests a proactive and reassuring approach, which I translated into the image of a strong hand brandishing the tool of the trade.

Logo Design: Emblem Style

The logo is structured like an emblem or a circular seal of guarantee. This classic shape evokes solidity and tradition, typical of quality workshops. In the center, the pictogram of the hand gripping the wrench becomes the absolute protagonist, emerging from the circle with a three-dimensional effect.

Symbology: Fist and Wrench

The central icon depicts a white clenched fist holding a teal/blue wrench. The fist communicates tenacity, work strength, and technical control rather than aggression. It is the symbol of artisan “know-how” combined with the precision of modern diagnostics.

Bold and Curved Typography

For the text, I chose a very robust and readable Slab Serif font. The wording “T’AGGIUSTO IO” follows the lower curvature of the logo in a petrol blue color, visually supporting the entire structure. The word “AUTOFFICINA” at the top, in burgundy red, closes the circle, defining the business category.

Color Palette: Petrol and Burgundy

I avoided classic bright traffic-sign reds. The palette combines an elegant burgundy red for the circle and descriptive text with a petrol blue (teal) for the name and tool. The contrast on a light background is sharp yet sophisticated, distinguishing the workshop from generic competitors.

Corporate Identity

The logo was applied to all workshop materials. From mechanics’ work overalls to letterheads for quotes, and internal signage. The “badge” structure facilitates application on embroidered patches and stickers, always maintaining high brand recognizability.

Diagnostics & Craftsmanship

The design merges two souls: the manual (the hand) and the technical (the wrench). Even though the company deals with electronic diagnostics, the chosen symbol reassures the client that, in the end, there is always expert human intervention to fix the fault, combining technology and craftsmanship.

Communicative Clarity

The result is a logo that needs no explanation. It speaks clearly at first glance: here, cars are repaired with strength and competence. The created visual identity transmits safety, reducing the anxiety that typically accompanies a client when taking their car to a mechanic.

Results & Achievements

The “T’aggiusto io” brand gained immediate local sympathy and recognition. Thanks to its iconic shape and direct naming, the logo sticks in memory, transforming a simple auto repair shop into a friendly and reliable reference point for drivers.
