The Client: Mela Cesynt

Mela Cesynt is a company specializing in mortgages and leasing. Operating in a complex and competitive financial sector, they needed a visual identity that inspired institutional trust while distinguishing itself from classic, static, and austere banking iconography.

The Concept: Nature and Analysis

The central idea stems from merging two opposing worlds: nature and mathematics. The “Apple” (from the brand name) represents the fruit, tangible results, and organic growth. The “Graph” represents analysis, market trends, and the technical precision required in leasing.

The Pictogram: The Analytical Apple

The logo depicts the stylized outline of an apple. Inside, the flesh is not solid but defined by a jagged zig-zag line. This line visually simulates a stock market graph or financial trend, transforming the fruit into a symbol of economic performance.

The Hidden “M”

Observing the internal graph, one notices the jagged line also forms the letter “M,” the brand’s initial. This play on negative and positive space strengthens brand memorability, inextricably linking the pictogram to the company name.

Color Psychology: Glossy Blue

The color palette is dominated by shades of blue and azure. In financial marketing, blue is the color of trust, security, and transparency. I applied a “glossy” and gradient effect to give the logo depth and a modern, technological touch.

Authoritative Typography

For the “MELA” logotype, I chose an uppercase Serif font in dark grey/silver. The serifs convey an air of authority, tradition, and institutional solidity. The subtitle “CESYNT” is in a smaller, spaced-out Sans-Serif font to balance it with modernity and cleanliness.

Financial Symbolism

The emblem communicates a precise message: the fruit of investments. The apple is not just an object, but the result of correct financial management (the graph). It is a visual metaphor reassuring the client of the company’s ability to make mortgage or leasing opportunities “bear fruit.”

Corporate Identity

The logo was applied to all company stationery. Business cards, leasing contract folders, and letterheads maintain a sober and elegant style, using grey and blue as primary colors to transmit professionalism in every document delivered to the client.

Web 2.0 Style

The graphic style, with its light reflections and volumetric gradients, recalls “Web 2.0” aesthetics, very effective in communicating digital innovation and accessibility. It makes the brand perceived as a dynamic entity, far from the static bureaucracy of old financial firms.

Results & Achievements

The Mela Cesynt logo gave the company a recognizable and professional face. The unique combination of a common object (the apple) and a technical symbol (the graph) made the brand easy to remember, positioning it as a reliable partner for families and businesses seeking credit solutions.
