The Client: Las Palmas Cozze
Located on the scenic seafront between Mola, Polignano, and Conversano, Las Palmas Cozze is a summer nightlife landmark. Serving as a bar, sandwich shop, and cafeteria, it offers relaxation and fun by the sea, requiring a fresh image that immediately communicated the holiday atmosphere.
Concept: Iconic Summer
Summer is the heart of the visual identity. I developed a concept merging three emblems: the palm (relax), the sun (energy), and the wave (movement). These symbols are not juxtaposed but intertwined in a single harmonic glyph, becoming the visual seal of beachside entertainment.
Logo Design
The logo sees the palm silhouette embracing the sun and sea. Lines are fluid and organic to recall the location’s natural feel. The brand’s geometric construction ensures readability in both large formats (signage) and small formats (social avatars), keeping its communicative power intact.
Sea Color Palette
The color choice was rigorous: I sampled a specific “sea color” (intense turquoise) evoking immediate freshness. This primary color was paired with warm solar yellow tones, creating a vibrant contrast that makes the brand instantly recognizable and psychologically associated with summer relief.
Graphic Design & Collateral
I handled the entire printed graphic suite. From menus laminated to withstand salt spray to table markers, every material was designed to grab attention. The design system ensures that every piece of visual communication within the venue reinforces the brand identity.
Summer Event Flyers
Summer thrives on appointments. I created a coherent graphic line for evening posters. Each flyer features a fixed layout grid for recognizability but varies in illustrations to distinguish different entertainment types, ensuring maximum visibility for the tourist audience.
Technical Print Support
The project included technical production supervision. I managed executive files for the print shop, selecting papers and finishes suitable for the marine environment. This quality control ensured that bright monitor colors were rendered perfectly on paper without saturation loss.
Tech Stack: Bootstrap & Understrap
For the online presence, I developed a fast, scalable website. I used the Understrap starter theme, combining WordPress power with the Bootstrap responsive grid. This technical foundation ensures clean code and perfect compatibility with all mobile devices.
Facebook Event Automation
To reduce the client’s management workload, I implemented API automation. The website automatically synchronizes with events created on the venue’s Facebook page. The on-site calendar is thus always updated in real-time, eliminating the need for double data entry.
Mobile-First UX
Given the beach context, the user experience was designed “Mobile-First.” The OnePage site allows customers to consult menus and event schedules comfortably from their smartphones under a beach umbrella, with intuitive vertical navigation and minimized load times.
