The Client: Ciracì Automobili

Ciracì Automobili is a historic landmark in Taranto for car sales. The company needed a restyling to bridge its long tradition into the present, communicating reliability alongside the energy required to compete in the modern automotive market.

Agency Collaboration

The project was developed in close synergy with the agency Uptimization. My role as a visual designer integrated with the agency’s strategy to translate corporate values into a graphic mark. The goal was to create a distinctive sign that worked effectively on both physical (signage) and digital assets.

Concept: Pure Dynamism

Inspiration comes from speed. The auto sector is about movement and evolution. The logo was conceived to avoid being static: slanted lines and aerodynamic curves suggest a vehicle speeding toward the future, visually representing the dealership’s innovative drive.

The Symbol: Car in the Circle

The distinctive graphic element is a red circle enclosing the stylized silhouette of a sports car. The circle evokes a spinning wheel and steering wheel, symbols of control and travel. The white line drawing the car is essential and fluid, reducing the vehicle’s complex shape to an immediate icon.

Color Psychology: Electric Red

Red is not accidental: it is the quintessential color of motoring passion. I chose an “electric” and vibrant shade to grab attention and transmit energy. This warm color makes the brand aggressive in a positive sense, communicating vitality and commercial strength.

Bodywork Grey

Balancing the red’s energy is the grey used for the lettering. I opted for a metallic gradient that directly recalls car body paint and the technological/mechanical component of vehicles. The red-grey contrast offers a professional, solid, and elegant look.

Typography Speed

The “Ciracì” logotype uses a bold, strongly slanted (italic) sans-serif font. This typographic choice simulates physical acceleration: the letters seem bent by the wind of the race. This reinforces the concept of dynamism, making the company name an integral part of the visual action.

Application Versatility

The brand was studied for maximum performance on every medium. Its compact structure makes it perfect for high visibility on dealership street signage, as well as for customizing gadgets, license plate holders, and social graphics, always maintaining high readability.

Automotive Identity

The result is a “speaking” logo: it declares its sector without needing words. The union of aerodynamic shapes and thematic colors creates an unmistakable visual identity, reassuring the customer about the company’s specialization at first glance.

Results & Achievements

The rebranding provided Ciracì Automobili with a new, competitive face. The modern and gritty logo renewed the brand’s perception in the Taranto area, merging the authority of company history with a contemporary aesthetic ready for current market challenges.
