BP Events is the division specializing in Weddings and Private Parties of Barproject, a renowned beverage training academy. Building on this legacy, the company offers international catering with a vertical focus on mixology and bar experience. The site needed to reflect this dual soul: the elegance of the event and the technical competence of the beverage service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To ensure a solid and high-performance structure, I chose Understrap<\/strong> as the development base. This hybrid framework combines WordPress flexibility with the Bootstrap<\/strong> responsive grid. This choice allowed for a lightweight site, free from the bloated code of commercial themes and perfectly adaptable to any device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Instead of using heavy page builders (like Elementor or Divi), I built a “tailored” content management system using ACF (Advanced Custom Fields)<\/strong>. I developed modular blocks that the client can assemble at will to create new pages, while maintaining strict graphic consistency and superior loading speed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Events thrive on visual impact. To manage the numerous photos and videos of parties, I integrated the nanogallery.js<\/strong> library. This advanced solution allows creating highly responsive carousels and mosaic galleries, with modern lightbox features that enhance catering and cocktail shots without slowing down the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Video management was handled with extreme attention to GDPR. I developed custom modules for integrating YouTube<\/strong> videos in “nocookie” mode. This ensures multimedia content is shown to users without prior tracking, guaranteeing compliance with European privacy regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To strengthen the visual identity, I designed a custom icon set. These vector graphic elements represent specific services (catering, bar catering, setups, wedding planning), creating a unique visual language that intuitively and refinedly guides the user through BP Events’ offerings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The design subtly recalls the link with the parent company Barproject, while maintaining its stylistic independence. If Barproject is “training,” BP Events is “celebration.” I worked on colors and fonts to create a family feeling that communicated technical authority in beverage applied to the festive wedding context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Information architecture was designed to clearly separate “Private” services (Weddings) from “Corporate” ones. The menu and navigation guide the user toward the desired event type, while Call to Actions (CTAs) are strategically placed within ACF blocks to maximize quote requests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The new BP Events site is a fast, secure, and visually appealing platform. The custom Page Builder allows the client to update the event portfolio with total autonomy and ease.
