“I Trulli sul Mare” is a unique property in Trani, where ancient renovated trulli meet the Adriatic. Immersed in nature, the B&B offers an authentic relaxation experience. The site needed to convey this poetic atmosphere, highlighting the architectural restoration and the privileged location on the natural ridge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I developed a bespoke WordPress theme using Gutenberg and ACF (Advanced Custom Fields). This “code-first” approach allowed for a flexible yet rigorous layout, where every block is optimized to tell the location’s beauty without bloating the code, ensuring excellent performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To showcase the trulli details and landscape, I integrated Nanogallery.js<\/strong>. This library displays high-resolution photos in responsive grids and elegant lightboxes, offering users an emotional visual preview of the stay and architectural details even before booking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Using Slick.js<\/strong>, I created fluid carousels for sections dedicated to amenities and common spaces. Users can smoothly scroll through images of Apulian cuisine dishes and the shaded patio, enjoying touch-friendly navigation optimized for mobile devices and tablets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The goal is conversion. I integrated a custom availability search module that interfaces with the reservation management system. The form is strategically positioned to be accessible throughout navigation, facilitating direct stay booking in just a few clicks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Visibility is handled by my agency, Italy SWAG<\/strong>. We implemented a deep Technical SEO strategy, optimizing Core Web Vitals and data structure.
